2007 XSTRATA MOUNT ISA MINING EXPO UPDATE

EXPO IS MOVING

Following lengthy discussions with Mount Isa City Council regarding the designated venue for this year's exhibition, the organisers of the 2007 Xstrata Mount Isa Mining Expo has decided to move this year's event to its former site at the Mount Isa Civic Centre.

The change has been necessary due to recent rainfall in the Mount Isa region which has caused delays to the construction schedule for the pavilion at Buchanan Park.

In the interest of exhibitors and the need to present a quality exhibition, the Expo committee has implemented their back up plan to ensure the Expo continues to be an impressive forum to showcase its exhibitor's products and services in a comfortable and safe environment.

As the Civic Centre has been home to the Expo for the past twelve years, exhibitors can be assured of a quality event with the convenience of a central location.

A revised site plan is currently being designed and will be emailed to exhibitors by the end of the week.
