The 2007 Xstrata Mount Isa Mining Expo is set to continue its high standard of exhibit displays and networking opportunities across the mining industry.

Mount Isa Chamber of Commerce is very proud of the Expo's record in attracting world class exhibits, companies displaying the latest technologies and being host to many of Australia's senior political and mining leaders.

Whilst other industry expos have become less than consistent, the Mount Isa Mining Expo continues to expand and maintain its position as the premier annual Mining Expo on the Eastern seaboard.

The boom which is now taking place in and around the Mount Isa region ensures that the 2007 Expo will be solidified in its position as the pre-eminent industry showcase for the Carpentaria Minerals Province.

Together with significant mine expansions and the uranium debate firmly on the agenda, the Mount Isa Mining Expo is central to this massive growth and home to one of Australia's largest uranium deposits.
