Cutting Back Now For a Longer Tomorrow

It's that time of year again when we remind our businesses of the role they play in reducing their carbon footprint and cutting back in the office place to create a more sustainable future for our younger generations.

Whether you believe in climate change or not, the economical and financial benefits of reducing your carbon emissions in this day and age should be justification enough to start implementing some environmentally friendly practices in your workplace - and there's nothing wrong with having fun while you do so! From October 5 - October 9, the Chamber will be celebrating Green Week and we want as many businesses as possible to register in this celebration and join us in raising awareness in our community of the many advantages of reducing your organisation's carbon emissions.

This year we are asking businesses to submit to the Chamber a little excerpt on HOW YOUR WORKPLACE HAS REDUCED YOUR CARBON EMMISSIONS and what your organisation will be doing throughout the week to RAISE AWARENESS OF GREEN WEEK WITHIN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY.
