Network Development Officer

Desert Knowledge Australia has partnered with the Mount Isa Chamber of Commerce and the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Industry to link with eight other regions in the Desert Knowledge Australia Outback Business Networks Project.

This unique opportunity requires an individual with project and economic development skills to launch this exciting national programme at a regional level.

The successful applicant will have the responsibility to implement the project business plan by linking businesses in North Queensland with existing networks and those being formed in other Australian outback communities.

The role will be based in the Mount Isa Chamber of Commerce office but will require some travel. We are seeking a creative, motivated and independent self starter with well developed interpersonal skills.
